How to Hack WPA/WPA2 encryption with Windows

As you know there are a lot of ways to hack WiFi password. And at one of previous posts we speak how to hack WPA/WPA2 encryption with BackTrack OS. So there are and way for Windows users too.

 1. You need to download CommView and after that download Wireless Security Auditor too. And install both on computer.
2. Open CommView and click on the Start option. Click on the capture option to start the capture. It will show you all available AP. Click on the Tools > Select the Node Reassoication option ( if Node Rassociation is not working , then use WiFi Alfa card ).
3. Select your target AP in the Send a deauthentication request from this AP option. It will show you all available client option.
Click on the Send Now option to send the packet for 4-way authentication. Wait some time - it will capture the packet.
4. Click on the Save option and choose your file format Commview Capture Files (*.ncf).
Capture process already done!
5. Now open Wireless Security Auditor. Click on the Import Data tab > select the Import CommViewLog option.
It will show you information about AP and Multiple Handshake selection information. Click on OK.
6. Click on the Start attack option and select the Dictionary Attack option. However, your other attack's options are also available.
Within minutes it will find your password and it will show you the password.
Now your done! I hope you enjoy it.

    I'm done saving the packets to .ncf form. Then when I go to Elcomsoft to import the data, it always say that "No handshakes have been found on the given file". Help please.

      You need to open that file with Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor.

    Same error "No handshakes have been found on the given file". Obviously opened with security auditor. Please be more specific in the "Node Rassociation" step. Thanks!!

      Make sure you want to hack really working WiFi, because maybe is only show that WiFi you not able to connect to that, and make sure that you cracking WPA/WPA2 protection WiFi.

      Hello dear user. Click on the Start button and after that you will be able to use capture button too.

    Mikael We all get that error and for some reason I am getting that error to :/ but i wouldn't know if it is compatable with windows 8.1.........
    In any case, I have been wondering, because when I tried to send the packet for 4-way authencation
    I never got something showing me that it was accually received no matter how long I waited, after a while I just went to the next stap etc. and when I tried to open the file I indeed got the same error as everyone else :/

    Ok....i see Mikael have something elese to do so i'll try explaining if u dont want to search with google:

    This kind of attack, as in step 3, is used when u have a wifi adaptor with injection power...that means is not the laptop's wifi card, but a usb wifi antenna....
    So..... we don't have one to do such an attack. What do we do? We start saving like in step 4 when we reach every 100.000 package or we use the autosave option in the logging tab... I recommend the last option becouse you will need at least one night packages saved to get 1 or ,if you are a really lucky person, 2 handshakes.

    The Commview 7 does not have a capture button, so u can only save packages from a channel or from all channels.

    And btw i don't know if Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor comes with a dictionary....... so u can use aircrack-ng with WPA lists from torents.

    I'm doing research into network security for a university academic paper so this is very helpful, however, you're using a USB wifi antenna and we're not. Does anybody have alternate solutions?

    I have a wifi Alfa AWUS036NH, which I bought after the OP's suggestion (paid 40 euros for it) and I regrettably found out that commview does not actually support it.

    When I click node re-association it says that my card does not have that functionality.

    So thanks a lot for having me spending 40 euros for something that does not work.

      I don't ever suggest to anybody to buy awus036nh i never say that. I have a video if you mean that i have uploaded it few days ago and i recommend to buy awus036nha not awus036nh!

      In No2 of your guide, you specifically say "if Node Rassociation is not working , then use WiFi Alfa card"

      And when back in August someone asked you, you specifically said that you need to buy it. Sure you did not specify the model, but you should.

      Anyway, all is not lost. I managed to capture the handshakes by using Live Kali Linux. Now I have to figure out how to crack them and get the access code.

      Sure Elcomsoft's Wireless Security Auditor will help, but it's not that easy as you describe here. You need a hude amount of dictionaries and then again it's not guaranteed that you will succeed.

      A good guide should include all this information.

    I've been capturing packets for days now and still get the issue of "no handshakes found". I'm sure there have been handshakes because I can see several new devices that have joined several of the networks... Any advice? Btw, I'm using a card listed as "other" that has not been tested (a usb encore wireless adapter).

      Maybe your wireless adapter not good at capturing handshakes, just take a look at these adapters list - http://www.cyberprogrammers.net/2015/09/best-usb-wireless-adapterscards.html
