How to Enable or Disable USB ports on computer


In this post i'm gonna teach you how to enable or disable USB ports on your computer. After you disable ports, nobody can't plug any USB to your computer. Or if you want to enable them there are a way too.
Enable or Disable using BIOS
1. Reboot your computer, and sign into the BIOS. When computer was restarted, After 2-3 seconds very fast press one of the following keys from keyboard Delete or F2 or F10 or F12.
2. In BIOS find advance settings or Onboard devices menu, and select USB Configuration and hit enter.
3. Select the option to disable USB ports and Disable USB controllers to disable all USB ports. Change it to Enable if you want to enable.


4. Now exit BIOS with choosing Save & Exit line.
Using Device Manager
1. Right click on My Computer and Choose Manage. In new opened window from left side list choose Device Manager
2. And now double click on Universal Serial Bus controllers and from drop down list find USB Mass Storage Device and right click on that and choose Disable, or if its disabled you want to Enable then press on Enable.
Using Registry editor
1. Open start menu and type in regedit and open registry editor. 
2. And now in new opened window navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR directory.


3. From the right pane, double click on Start and change the value to 3 for enabling USB ports. Change the value to 4 for disabling the USB ports. Click on OK.


That's all. Now you can Enable or Disable computer USB ports when you want.
